When I create and conduct a funeral service or celebration of life ceremony, I know that I have spent as much time as is needed, probably much more, making sure that the needs and expectations of my bereaved family have been met in my script.
When people are suffering the agonising pain of the death of a loved one, perhaps their mother, father or a grandparent, they are extremely vulnerable and it is my earnest wish to support them. There’s little doubt that the planning of a suitable farewell funeral ceremony with all its choices, decisions and costs brings all sorts of anxiety to the fore when that’s the last thing people need.
If this has happened to you, it is likely that you suffered sleep deprivation, intense grief and feelings of profound shock; even making the smallest decision seems to be a mammoth ask. I try to make myself available to you as much as I possibly can, to discuss your concerns and help you make good choices for your funeral service.
I am not a grief counsellor but I am an accomplished funeral celebrant with many personal life experiences upon which I can also call for inspiration; this motivates me to stand behind you in your grief, focusing on the practical side of things, allowing you space for your own thoughts.
Receiving a positive review is the most wonderful thing as it tells me that yes, I am doing something right…I have made that difference!
Here are just a few funeral celebrant reviews that families have kindly left on Google.
Caroline made what is a stressful and sad time of life, easy and comforting. Whilst arranging my Grandmas service, Caroline was very kind, patient and informative and we had such a lovely chat about Grandma, remembering her, and her amazing personality and achievements. Caroline’s wonderful words really did Grandma justice. Thank you!
Caroline made preparing for my sister’s funeral so much easier. Her professionalism and caring attitude went above and beyond, making sure we understood what was needed. She listened to the families wishes and patiently interpreted our thoughts into the eulogy, making it very personal. There was high praise for Caroline from everyone on how the funeral was conducted- a very fitting send off. She is a lovely lady.
Just wanted to say a massive thank you for all your hard work in making a sad day into a day of celebration. The amount of people who have said how professional you were and how you came across, to make the service run so smoothly.
You are a credit to your profession, and words cannot express my gratitude.
Caroline is absolutely amazing. She makes everything so stress free and bearable at a time of great sorrow and upset. Her support is second to none from meeting her on FaceTime to writing and editing the eulogy and tribute. Her advice and guidance is invaluable throughout.
The service was so professionally performed with humour and sensitivity. She really does get to know your loved one and you as the bereaved.
I would recommend her services wholeheartedly.
